THE motion proposed by
Leonard Weinglass, requesting a new trial at a venue
outside of Miami for the five Cubans unjustly
imprisoned in the United States after a rigged trial
in that Florida city, should have received a reply
from the D.A.’s office on December 15. However the
answer was put off until December 23 and then the
26.

imprisoned in the United States for more than four
years without having committed any crime or having
in any way inflicted damage on the U.S. people.

a committee for the release of the five Cubans imprisoned in the
United States, during a rally in which the U.S. economic
blockade on Cuba was also condemned.

THE
people and government of Laos are supporting Cuba in its
campaign to free the five heroes unjustly imprisoned in the
United States, because they recognize the anti-terrorist work
they were carrying out for their country, states Phovanykev

THE
U.S. National Committee to Free the Five has called on President
Bush for the immediate release of the five Cuban fighters
against terrorism currently in U.S. federal prisons. In parallel
it has organized a public meeting in New York for today,
September 12, four years after their arrest.
