Guerrero, top seed of the
competition, maintained his crown in the Men’s
Singles event, defeating U.S. player Bjorn Seguin
with a score of 19-21, 21-14 and 21-13 in the final.
As a result, the top badminton
player in the Americas added 5,000 points to his
personal World Ranking score - currently occupying
							56th place.
For the Cuban, the tournament was
also payback for a defeat he suffered against Seguin
in the Giraldilla Tournament, held in Havana last
							year.
							Guerrero’s next international
competition will be the Central American and
Caribbean Games in Veracruz 2014, where he hopes to
win both the Singles and Doubles titles. (PL)
