Five days for the Cuban Five begins
in Washington
A
five day event in solidarity with the Cuban Five
begins today, June 4, in the U.S. capital with the
participation of supporters from over 40 countries.
Numerous activities will continue through June 11 to
increase pressure on the Obama administration to
find a definitive solution to the case and free the
three Cubans who remain imprisoned after more than
15 years, Gerardo Hernández, Ramón Labañino and
Antonio Guerrero.

Scheduled to take place, among other events, are a
June 5-6 conference entitled ‘A new era in US-Cuba
relations’ and a protest in front of the White House
on Saturday, June 7.
