Israeli, Palestinian Agreed Negotiating Again in
October
Cairo,
Sep 24 (Prensa Latina).— The delegations to the
indirect talks for an agreement to stop Israeli
attacks against Gaza agreed to resume such talks the
last week of October.

The
decision was announced by Izzat Al-Rishaq, member of
the Palestinian delegation, formed by Hamas, which
dominates the Strip; and Al-Fatah, leader of the
Organization for the Liberation of Palestine.
They also stated the indirect contacts, in which
Egypt acts as a mediator, were about to be suspended
after the assassination by the Israeli army of two
Palestinians Amer Abu Aisha and Marwan Qamawe.
The government of Tel Aviv accused both, without
proof, of kidnapping and killing three residents of
a Zionist settlement in an area of the West Bank.
'We knew about the murder of both men when we were
heading to the headquarters of the Egyptian
Intelligence , and decided to suspend the talks in
protest.
"These murders are a deliberate attempt to avoid
negotiations on the ceasefire (in the Strip), and
end the suffering of our people," he added. (Taken
