Ban Ki-moon receives Cuban minister

the United Nations, Ban Ki-moon, received Minister
of Foreign Relations Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, who
led the Cuban delegation to the 69th session of the
UN General Assembly, with the

scheduled to begin September 24.
Ban
Ki-moon reiterated his gratitude for Cuba’s resolute
response to confronting the Ebola epidemic, and
asked his thanks be transmitted to President Raúl
Castro. He emphasized the need for the cooperation
of all countries and stated that others should
follow Cuba’s example.
