Díaz-Canel receives Vice President of
El Salvador

On
October 4, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, First Vice
President of the Councils of State and Ministers,
held official conversation with compañero Oscar
Samuel Ortiz, Vice President of the Republic of El
Salvador, on an official visit to Cuba.
Both
dignitaries reviewed the excellent ties of
friendship and cooperation between El Salvador and
Cuba, and reiterated the willingness of their
respective governments to work to strengthen
bilateral relations.
The
distinguished visitor was accompanied by Deputy
Minister, Luz Estrella Rodríguez and the honorable
Sandra Geraldine Alvarado Fuentes, ambassador of El
Salvador in Cuba.
Participating on the Cuban side were Deputy Minister
of Foreign Relations, Ana Teresita González Fraga;
Director-General for Latin America and the
Caribbean, Manuel Aguilera de la Paz, and other
Ministry officials.
