BEIJING.—Comptroller General of Cuba and Council of State Vice President Gladys Bejerano addressed the closing session of the 21st Congress of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI), a UN agency.

The Cuban Comptroller General noted that many speeches in the sessions focused on the relationship between audit control and national governance, and agreement upon its contribution to good government.

She emphasized the inestimable aid of INTOSAI in supporting correct functioning of supreme audit institutions and stated that the agency is recognized for its work and diverse actions to increase professional capacity and the exchange of best practices.
