Some 700 Journalists Accredited for
CELAC Summit
HAVANA, Cuba, Jan 24 (acn) The 2nd Summit of the
Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC)
will be reported from Havana by 694 journalists
representing 196 media outlets from 29 countries,
Humberto Macias, director of the International Press
Center told Granma.

The
press center was inaugurated on Friday at Havana’s
Pabexpo exhibition center where the meeting of Latin
American and Caribbean heads of state and government
will take place on January 28-29. National
coordinators will meet during the weekend, while on
Monday foreign ministers will do the same, the
website Cubadebate reported on Friday.
The
International Press Center inaugurated for the 2nd
CELAC Summit offers all services needed by
journalists to provide coverage of the event.
