Louis Cristal
cruise liner initiates
trips around Cuba
Those interested in visiting Cuba
have a new option this season aboard the Louis
Cristal cruise ship, which on December 16 began a
trip around the island, with stops at several ports.
Organized by the Canadian Cuba
Cruise Company and Cuba’s Ministry of Tourism, (Mintur)
the cruises will begin every Monday departing from
Havana, and on Friday from Montego Bay, in Jamaica.
The seven-day cruise includes visits to Santiago de
Cuba, Cienfuegos, the Isle of Youth and Holguín.
President of Cuba Cruise, Dugald
Wells, informed the press that he and his team are
committed to developing the new option, meant to
show the world the variety of Cuba’s attractions,
its people, culture and natural environment, as well
as ensuring benefits for the two associated parties.
Information as to details, prices
and availability can be acquired at
www.yourcubacruise.com. Reservations may be made
online, as well.
The cruises are being promoted as
part of a Mintur campaign for the winter months,
offering the opportunity to visit several cities,
World Heritage sites, natural preserves and
beautiful beaches.
The ship has capacity for more than
1,000 passengers in 480 rooms, provides a variety of
services onboard and all the comfort expected of a
modern luxury liner, including suites, elegant
gathering places and restaurants.
