Declaration of the Cuban Movement for
Peace before the new manoeuvres of the United States
The Cuban Movement for Peace and Sovereignty of People (MOVPAZ), it claims support and solidarity from all progressive forces, parties, organizations and personalities of the world, to denounce United States government’s libel against Cuba, because Cuba government deny USA’s help offer for damages of the hurricanes Gustav and Ike conditioned to USA inspection to our country. On the Cuban Revolution and their social achievements there are enormous sacrifices that Cuban people had to do during 50 years of blockade imposed to the island by the powerful country on the face of the earth (USA), the one that had implemented against Cuba sabotage and terrorism plans that had mourning thousands of Cuban families and it had caused considerable material damages to the Cuban economy whose authors and promoters are supported and have USA government’s protection. Before these new manoeuvres of George Bush Administration, the Cuban Movement for Peace and Sovereignty of People (MOVPAZ) is very grateful for the solidarity, friendship and fraternal helps from all the people and governments in the world that had expressed their disposition of cooperating in the reconstruction of the Cuban people from the damages of these natural marvellous. |
