Raúl receives Russian
Foreign Minister
Army
General Raúl Castro Ruz, President of the Councils
of State and Ministers received, April 29, Russian
Foreign Minister Serguei Lavrov, on an official
visit to the country.
 Raúl
and the minister reaffirmed, in an amicable meeting,
the excellent state of bilateral relations, which
continue to develop and show promise, given the
fraternal ties shared by the two peoples and
governments. The two leaders also discussed the
current international situation.
The
distinguished guest was accompanied by Mikhail L.
Kamynin, the Russian Federation’s ambassador in Cuba
and Alexander V. Shchetinin, director of the
ministry’s Latin American division. Cuban Minister
of Foreign Relations Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla also
participated.
