Raúl receives
Indian Foreign Minister
ARMY
General Raúl Castro Ruz, President of the Councils
of State and Ministers, received on June 16 Foreign
Minister S.M Krishna of the Republic of India, who
was making an official visit to Cuba.
During their cordial meeting, the
two parties discussed the state of bilateral
relations and reiterated a commitment to work to
strengthen and deepen them. They also discussed a
number of current international issues.
The distinguished visitor was
accompanied by M. Ganapathi, Western Hemispheric
Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Relations, and
C. Rajasekhar, Indian ambassador to Cuba. Foreign
Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla was present on the
Cuban side.
