Rio+20 delegation
PRESIDENT Raúl Castro is heading the delegation
taking part in the Rio+20 UN Conference on
Sustainable Development, June 20-22, in Rio de
Janeiro, Brazil.
This conference gives continuity to the 1992
Earth Summit and other high-level meetings on
sustainable development during the last 20 years.
The Cuban delegation also comprises Miguel Díaz-Canel,
Vice President of the Council of Ministers; Foreign
Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla; and Elba Rosa
Pérez, Minister of Science, Technology and the
Environment.
