At the proposal of the President,
the Council of State has adopted the following
agreements:
To release Medardo Díaz Toledo
from his position as Minister of Informatics and
Communications and promote to that position
Maimir Mesa Ramos, first deputy minister at the
above Ministry.
Díaz Toledo is being
reincorporated into the Ministry of the
Revolutionary Armed Forces.
To release Tomás Benítez
Hernández from his position as Minister of
Basic Industry and promote to this
responsibility Alfredo López Valdés,
currently first deputy minister.
Benítez Hernández is to be
assigned other tasks.
