José Ramón Machado Ventura heads Cuban delegation to
the investiture of Daniel Ortega
JOSE Ramón Machado Ventura,
member of the Political Bureau of the Central
Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) and
vice president of the Council of State, is heading
the Cuban delegation to the investiture of Daniel
Ortega as president of Nicaragua, which takes place
today in Managua.
During its stay in that country,
the Cuban delegation is to have talks with the new
Nicaraguan authorities and with other official
delegations present at the ceremony.
The Cuban delegation comprises
Fernando Remírez de Estenoz, member of the
Secretariat and head of the International Relations
Department of the Central Committee of the PCC; José
Arbesú, deputy head of that department; and
Alejandro González, deputy minister of Foreign
Affairs. |
