Cuba to Show-off
Vet Products in Panama
Havana, Sep (Prensa Latina).— Cuba will
demonstrate its progress in veterinary products and
their standard application practices at an important
event to be held in Panama, the country s
representatives to the event reported Monday.
Milagros Abreu, chief of medication registration
at LABIOFAM (Biological Products Laboratory Company,
and Adela Encinosa, of the Veterinary Medicine
Institute, will present themes on good practice of
biological and pharmaceutical production and
labeling.
The doctors will also present some LABIOFAM
products with excellent results in their farm
application, at the 12th Seminar of the Americas on
Harmonization of Medicines for Veterinary Use.
Cuba collaborates with over 22 countries of the
world, in which veterinary and biological products
are applied, and will especially demonstrate the
raticide Biorrat again in this seminar.
Griselef and bactivec will also be presented.
These products are important to control mosquito
larvae, with over 90 percent effectiveness against
mosquito deposits.
