Fidel receives
Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church of the
United States
LAST
night, President Fidel Castro received the Most
Reverend Frank Tracy Griswold, Presiding Bishop of
the Episcopal Church of the United States,
accompanied by a delegation from this religious U.S.
institution who arrived in Cuba last Friday at the
invitation of the Episcopal Church in Cuba.
The meeting took place in the cordial and
respectful atmosphere that has always characterized
relations between the Cuban government and Cuba’s
religious organizations and their counterparts
abroad.
