Israel prepares
large-scale offensive against Palestinians
TEL AVIV (PL).— On Sunday the Israeli Army
deployed it troops in the Gaza Strip, in what could
be a large-scale offensive against the Palestinian
people, a military spokesman affirmed.

Tanks, armored cars, and dozens of infantry
troops were waiting for orders to attack, witnesses
on the ground said.
On Sunday, the Israeli political-security cabinet
authorized the use of force against that Palestinian
territory, further increasing tensions in this area
where almost three dozen people have died in recent
weeks.
The victims, most of them civilians – including
women and children – were killed by Tel Aviv’s
warplanes and naval forces, as part of the selective
assassination method being used by that government
against Palestinian militants.
