New Cuban minister of informatics
appointed
THE Council of State of the Republic of Cuba has
appointed Commander of the Revolution Ramiro Valdés
as the new minister of informatics and
communications, replacing Ignacio González.
Valdés was heading the Electronics Group, with good
results in his work, and González will be assigned
new responsibilities, the daily Granma
reported today.
