Belarus prime
minister visits Cuba
In response to an invitation from President Fidel
Castro Ruz, His Excellency Serguei Sergueievich,
prime minister of Belarus, will arrive in Cuba for
an official visit today, April 20.
The Belarussian leader is to be accompanied by a
large delegation composed of various members of the
government, the president of the State Committee of
Aviation, the president of the Radio and Television
Company, and representatives of that country’s
largest companies.
It is the first time the distinguished European
guest has visited Cuba since his designation as head
of the Belarus government in 2003.
This visit is an expression of the excellent
relations between the two countries and will serve
as the basis for broad cooperation in the political
arena and other common interests.
