Bosch admits his buddy Posada Carriles is in the
United States
US
government insists on ignoring the presence of the
international terrorist within its borders
ORLANDO Bosch, a notorious
international terrorist resident in Miami, admitted
in an interview that his buddy Luis Posada Carriles
is in the United States, and acknowledged that he
had been in contact with the Cuban-born criminal.
According to a report read out by
Fidel Castro during his special presentation on
national television yesterday from the International
Conference Center in Havana, detailing Bosch’s
statements on Miami’s Channel 41, the latter
referred to a telephone conversation with Posada
Carriles after the latter’s arrival in the United
States, and affirmed that the whole world is aware
of the fact.
“Such an affirmation,” Fidel
added, “makes you wonder whom you should believe:
the terrorist mafia of Miami, or the State
Department, which insists on denying the presence of
the dangerous terrorist in US territory.”
During his presentation, Fidel
referred to an interview given by the
counterrevolutionary Orlando Bosch to a television
station in Florida in which he justified the
explosion of a Cuban airliner that killed 73 people,
saying that such an action was permissible because
it was effected in a war situation.
“The only ones who don’t know
where he is are the security agencies, the
government and everyone who politically and
militarily leads the empire.”
Fidel also commented on
information from Venezuela, where several social
sectors are collecting signatures to demand Posada
Carriles’ extradition to that nation, where he must
respond to the legal authorities who are seeking him
for various crimes.
According to press reports cited by the Cuban
president, Venezuela’s Supreme Court approved a
petition for the notorious terrorist to be tried
there, where he is seen as – among other things – a
fugitive from justice. (Juventud Rebelde)
