The first Cigar
Shop of Beijing
BEIJING, nov 29 (Prensa Latina).—
The first Cigar Shop of Beijing began to work Monday
in a luxurious hotel in this capital, for the
retailer distribution of the famous Cuban cigars.
The installation, located in one of
the sides of the elegant St. Regis Hotel s lobby,
has one space for sales and another for usual
customers can preserve their cigars in individual
boxes with adequate temperature and humidity.
The opening ceremony of this shop,
attended by entrepreneurs, diplomats, and Chinese
institutions controlling cigar trade in the country,
is a new step in the strategy of Habanos SA company
for conquering the Chinese market.
According to the company s
executives, this is only the first of other cigar
shops to be opened in the capital and the country s
other biggest cities.
