PANAMÁ.— The Union of Panamanian
Journalists denounced, on August 21, a U.S.
government funded subversion plan against Cuba -
exposed by news agency Associated Press (AP)
- to destabilize the country and its government. In
a statement the Union commented that AP has
also revealed U.S. financing, through the United
States Agency for International Development (USAID),
of another subversion project against Cuba, known as
ZunZuneo, uncovered in April 2014 and recognized by
the U.S. government.
